I'm going to be a junior, and everyone states that in your junior year of high school you should start applying to colleges. I am very interested in studying abroad. I would appreciate any advice and resources to help me research studying abroad, how to apply to foreign colleges, and any other useful information. I am mostly interested in studying in Scotland.

I am 15 and want to become a Neurosurgeon or study Neurological procedures and/or possibly become a doctor or maybe earn a PhD in it.
I did not pick biology as a subject and are thinking of crashing biology in my last year of high school

For this year I take:

I take Physics and Chemistry as well as Modern Studies (to do with politics) all at higher level. I am doing Maths and English at Intermediate 2.

For my Last year I hope to take:

Technalogical studies - Higher (crash)
Biology - Higher (Crash)
Maths - Higher
English - Higher
Modern Studies - Advanced Higher

I am hoping to get all "A's" in them.

Is it too late or am I not intelligent enough to go to Harvard or Yale.

The Scottish education system did not tell me of the potential I had to become something that would be worthwhile. I feel as though my education and life are being wasted.
Please help me as I desperatly want this job in the future and go to this University.
My SG grades: 6 Creds & 2 Gen

To clarify, what I mean is while education in America is Prestigious, kids that are 13 years of age are learning calculus abroad(for example). I've talked to many Asian immigrant friends and they say school here is a breeze, and they have learned what it takes to get a degree here in high school. Ive been given the answer of as Americans, we don't teach students to be competitive enough. Instead we worry about ruining thier selfesteem. Your thoughts?

In India, trend is to send children for Masters in USA after doing Bachelor's in India. It saves cost of education and the child is grown up well to settle in New social structure. I want to know if there is any added advantage of doing Bachelor's also in USA after 12 th in India. Does it favourably influence in getting job in USA or it does not matter. I mean do companies offering jobs prefer US Bachelor's +Masters more than Indian Bachelor's + US masters?
Kindly guide me with your viewpoint.

I've worked on and off supporting myself so that I could go to university. I just finished my undergraduate program. I'm now thinking about whether I should do my MBA in Canada or postpone it by going abroad. I'm thinking that since China is such a popular destination for work that I may head over there to learn some Chinese and possibly get some work experience there before starting my MBA. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there who might have studied and worked in China and whether you can share your experience with me so that I can make a more informed decision. Also, if you can recommend a school and the best city to be in China that would be great. Thanks!

I learned great Spanish grammar from high school courses, but I'd like to study abroad in Paris and want to learn French. Those HS courses never taught me to speak Spanish very well (but man, can I write an esay ;D). Do those cds and computer programs really work, or would they be a waste of money?

Right now, I live in Los Angeles.

I'm a Sophomore at a junior college, and I'm going to transfer to a 4-year in about two semesters to either study graphic design or art education.

I was looking at schools in Canada, and I fell in love with The University of Lethmore

http://www.uleth.ca/prospective/index.htm

It would be strange, since I've never even been to Canada.

I'm also a single parent, my son is 3, and he would be coming with me.

I would also have to get a job...

Do you think I'm trying to do too much??

I just need a little guidance.
