I've been accepted by the college and I've got all the evidence for financial support from my parents. I'm white British, 21, and have no criminal convictions whatsoever. What are my chances of being granted a student visa?

Thanks.

I'm a JR now in high school and I've been thinking of where i want to go to college. I have been thinking of going to Spain or Mexico but I'm worried if I get my degree in either country will it still be valid in the U.S. I've herd of stories about people coming from Spain or Mexico with their degrees and only to find out that it's worth nothing here. (BTW I'm interested in studying Languages both foreign and classical, Linguistics. I'm Hispanic i know how to speak Spanish.

I am a high school student. I have traveled/studied abroad to China in the summer before. It was great.. truly. I learned a lot about the language, about the culture, and a lot of life lessons that can't be taught in school.

But academically speaking, what are the benefits to studying abroad for an actual SEMESTER? Does it only help people who want to become more familiar with a specific language? And GPA? Will credits carry over?

Please and thanks in advance.

I'm graduating in the spring 2008 and I've been thinking about getting a master's degree in Human ressources mangement, but i really don't want to sit in classrooms anymore. so i have been checking out some online universities such as Walden University, AIU, and Phoenix. i just wanted to know if getting an online master's would count as much in working world. I'm not sure if people wpuld take it seriously. Am I wrong?
