Is there any website that could help in getting an authentication of diploma and/or transcript of record there?

College degrees in the USA are routinely authenticated by the school which issued the degree.

Say you had a job candidate who claimed to have graduated from Harvard. You would ask the applicant to have an official transcipt sent from Harvard directly to you at the company. The applicant would contact Harvard, and the Harvard registrar would send an official notarized (legally sealed) document directly from the university to your company. After it arrived you would doublecheck with Harvard by calling the registrar and asking if the transcipt had come from their office. Note that you cannot request the transcipt, it must be requested by the person who graduated from the college. The process should take a week or two. There should not be any unusual delay. When in doubt, call the Registrar of the college and ask how long the processing normally takes.

I graduated from a famous college. A friend who works there now in the Registrar's office told me that they issue thousands of transcipts each week, but about six to ten times a week some company will contact them asking about a "graduate" who turns out never to have attended that school. And, there are many forged documents being passed around. So, it is normal business practice to never accept a diploma or transcript from the candidate, it must always come directly from the official office of the issuing university directly to you.

Be careful. This is a an area with a lot of deception and lying.
