There is this retarded kid at school who has this crush on me. At first it was cute, but now he seriously is annoying me. He follows me around and stands by my classes and drools. His aide thinks it's cute and lets him. I want him to leave me alone! He is constantly trying to hug me and give me flowers. How do I get him to back off without looking like a brat?

Is there a sample test that I can review with most of the answers on it? I really need help understanding what goes on in the special education class rooms. They had a question like. If you were in a situation with a child that had a toy and another came and took the toy how would you handle it. 1 talk to the boy and tell him it was wrong. 2 put the boy out and call his parents or 3. Ask them to shake hands and never do I again. I choose (1) and that was wrong. So I can ace this test please give me a web site that I can study for the test. Thanks

the working world?
I had a learning Disability and through no fault of my
own could not meet the requirements of a high school diploma.Do you think if the help was available when I was younger I could have gotten
a Diploma? I was surprised to pass the GED on
the first try since I was never taught much in
special ed classes. I guess it is automatically
my fault I could not meet the requirements of a
diploma thats what society says. I gave up on
College because I know I never will be able to
do the work I was told that.I wish people would
quit bad mouthing the GED,it is a second chance
and where would a lot of people be without it?
More on welfare. Is it true you can not get into
the military with a GED? The military
use to give the GED to their recruits who did not
graduate from high school. Not anymore.I am
in my 40s.

I am interested in learning about people's experience with using sensory therapy as a way to stop or at least reduce head banging for autistic children. If you have an autistic child who bangs his/her head, and you have tried sensory therapy to deal with the issue, can you please share your experience? Please tell whether it helped if at all, how MUCH it helped, and how long it took. Also, how much sensory therapy did your child get? Was it every day? Did you have to do sensory activities at home in addition to what the child got with the therapist? Thank you.
