Check with your local elementary school, social service agencies, and family doctors. They should be able to give you a list of some agencies in the area and may know which ones specialize in special needs children. If they don't know, start calling the programs they tell you about and ask if they are prepared to deal with a child with autism. I worked in a school affiliated program and we often cared for special needs children who were able to function in a mainstream setting, and we knew who to have parents contact if their child wasn't able to deal with our setting. (I'm in PA so my information wouldn't apply to you, but I encourage you to call the agencies I suggested because I bet they can help you.)
I just found an interesting web site that I thought might interest you. Check it out:
http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/autism/actearly/
Looks like it has a lot if interesting information on autism.

This page takes you to a pediatric psychologist's page. He and his wife owned the largest daycare centers in Lindenhurst, Illinois. Contact him and his wife, if they don't have facilities at their centers I am sure that they have the resources to direct you to a center that will suit your needs.
