can i get my cpr qualifications from an online course and will most training institue accept it online.... ?

Yes, you can become certified on-line- a quick Google seach will show you a lot of places doing so.

No, most organizations will not accept it for employment or their own internal certification requirements.

The most universally recognized certifications are, of course, the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross, neither of which do it completely on-line... although the Red Cross does offer a 'blended learning which is mostly done on-line but you appear before an instructor for the certiication part.

You can't get CPR certification on the internet because you can't do the physical part on a virtual manachin.

First Aid doesn't take a lot more time, but will be helpful in a lot of ways. Knowing how to work the AED units would also be great. I think everyone should learn how.

No. It is more than theory. CPR has a large practical component which requires you to be in a group.

I don't think so, as they require you to pracitce on the dummy. Your best bet is to check with your local fire dept to see if they offer classes. The one in my community does.
