We are originally from NJ and are now living in KY due to a relocation for work. We've found that KY is not for us and NJ has just gotten to expensive to return to. My husband will be retiring from his current job in about a year but will definately need another, he is an electrician. We're thinking of relocating to NC and haven't a clue where to go. I'm looking for a good public school system, my child will be going into high school. Employment potential is necessary and also housing that is affordable, I'm hoping to not spend more than 225K for a home, hopefully new construction. We also have friends in Graham and Huntersville, maybe somewhere in between. I would like to be no more than between 3 - 4 hours to the coast. Also, an area that has a lot of transplants would probably be good. Any direction or info. would be helpful. Thank-you.

i know history is bound to repeat its self but i dont see why its a required coures in high school i mean it could be an elective but dose it have to be required but anyway i think its crazy and you ppl probly think im crazy for posting this but im bored and need somthing to do and this is it ok

My son is 5yrs old, and since he started yr 1 at school, He has been Attacked, beaten up, Pinned to the ground having his head and stomach kicked ((BRUTALLY)) and basically been victimised.. Remeber he's only 5. The children involved are all in his classroom, so Do you think i should get him moved class? or try and get him to STICK up for himself more?? he is involved in Dancing classes, and LOVES to sing (another thing he gets Bullied for) And i don't want him to give up his activities to save face?
I'm torn as to what to do, I have a meeting with the HEAD of school, and need helpful ideas?

What do you all suggest??

its barely a month in to school and im already very unmotivated with school when on the first day i was motivated to get all A's. its my junior year of highschool and i need to stay on track but i cant get myself to go to bed on time (im writing this at midnigt), cant get myself to do the homework that challenges me, and in the mornings im very depressed and just want to leave school. im definitley not a school person but im very smart so it frustrates me that i dont have the diligence to get good grades and treat myself to what i deserve. any advice from students or people with a boring job will help greatly. thank you very much
