Whe I was at school we got the belt if we misbehaved. I thought I would try to find one to give as a leaving present for one of my colleagues who is going into teacher training. Honestly, theres nowt sick about it!!

My son and daughter have been off school for 2 weeks and already they are bored. In my opinion they should have a couple of weeks off and thats it. Let me know what you think but im sure the only people who will not agree are teachers as they seem to be on a good thing with all their payed holidays.

I'm a choir teacher. I graduated from college in 2005, and this past year I subbed, and now I'm looking for a full time teaching job. I drive 3 hours to interviews sometimes. And I always get "We were very impressed, but we went with someone with more experience." How am I supposed to get experience if no one will hire me? Am I doing something wrong? I'm myself at the interviews, I have as much experience as I can offer them, my credentials are fine... I don't wnat to get too specific, but any suggestions would be wonderful on how I can improve my interviews...

I am a volunteer teacher in old Mexico, and the classroom they gave me has an old chalkboard. The school is a non-profit school designed to help underprivileged children. There is NO money for new boards. Is there any way to re-use the old ones? HELP!!! It's for a great cause!!
