the foreign languages that are taught in our schools vary depending on the schools but do include
Japanese
Madarin
French
German
Italian
Spanish
and others I cant think of right now...
But learning any more than a few basic words of a second language is not required here and although some primary (or grade) schools offer second languages I dont htink it is an essential part of the curriculum until high school and then only for a short period of time.
