When I was in 4th grade in 1991, we listened to a song on a casette tape that was a long rhyming list of all different examples of nouns. I specifically remember a man introducing the song by singing "A cabbage or a king, the words we want to sing about are nouns! Oh well there's..."

I also can remember the very last verse perfectly:
"Canada, Vermont, New York, and even your home town...
Mississippi and Alaska
Tallahasse and Nebraska,
Every single one is just a noun."

Did anybody else ever listen to or teach this in grade school? I *really* don't think it was a School House Rock song, since those are usually videos, and we only ever listened to this.

Aside from selling them on eBay or donating them to a nearby school, is there anything else I can do with them? I'm not close to any school enough to drive by and drop them off and I no longer use eBay, so I was a little curious. I don't want to just throw them out.

I have a ten year daughter would is ADHD and has other problems also. She has been held back once and this last year was i nightmare the principal just wants to give up on her and send her to an alternative school. She went from being an A student to being a C and D student. Do I try to send her back to school the next school year or do i just try to homeschool her?

I am 23 yrs. I have learned a little spanish in highschool and some from my job. But recently I have decided to go about my quest to learn to speak spanish with the best of the speakers. I want to speak to a degree so well that it confuses the native speakers as to if I'm a native or not. Do you think that is possible at my age? Also does anyone have any ideas on how to go about this process?

my step daughter is frequently being kept off school by her mother for no apparent reason. she missed 17 weeks of school last year and so far this year hasn't put in a full week. I am concerned for her as she will not benefit as other children her age do from a good education. she is 14 and the next 2 years in school are her exam years.

i completed my 10th from St. stephen's school and scored 87 %((I.C.S.E.))

i wanna opt for the commerce stream with maths and go in for mba...
im totally unaware bout the whole thin...
so if u cud plz let me know wat to do and how to...

i m goin to migrate to us next year after my dad's retirement..
ma elder sis is there for the past 5 years...

is it beneficial to do MBA in us and then work in india or work there in us only...
