Yes but I think it would take immersion in the culture and speech like going to the country.

Yes. If you know English, Spanish is very similar in vocabulary, though different in pronunciation and grammar. But at your age, you should be able to learn it well enough to be fluent in a couple of years--or less, depending on how hard you're willing to work. The best way, of course, is to prepare yourself with some vocabulary and pronunciation lessons (there are numerous free online Spanish lessons--just do a search on "free Spanish lessons"), then take a trip south of the border (skip Brazil as they speak Portugese) for a few months. Read a lot. Go to Spanish-speaking movies. Listen to Spanish radio. Make a Spanish-speaking friend or two.

Can't say you'd speak native...as all spanish speaking countries have different dialects, plus there's slang, just like in English..if you want to speak native, you'll have to live there or get to know one. Otherwise....just general spanish...easy. I took it in high school too. I'm acing it in college. I love it. I think it's totally possible to learn as an adult....it makes it easier to learn if you think like a child....it's essentially language kindergarten in the beginning. You have to be a kid...speak what you learn as much as possible..have fun with it...and you will learn it easy!!

it is certainly possible, if you have a good ear for accents.
to speak the language without accent, like a native, you will need to spend real time in the country - at least a few years..

Of course it's possible, you are only 23 .
I learned English when I was 20, just go to School and try to practice it as much as you can, try to go to Spanish Chats so you learn how to type it to .

you can if you have the interest and the drive to do it. lots of practice helps, too, and it's best to practice talking to other folks who are fluent. that way, you learn more about the intonations and inflections of how it sounds from someone who speaks it fluently.
good luck and have fun!
