Whenever I seek advice on educating my "gifted" son (reading and knows numbers to 1000 at age 3), I get responses like "all kids are gifted" and "my child is gifted too." How can I get real advice on this topic without offending anyone? Is there another way to describe his needs without using the term "gifted"?

I was the only person at my High School (at that time) to ever go through 3 years of High School without stepping foot EVER into the Gymnasium or having to actually take PE as a requirement.

I wasn't "challenged" in any way, I simply BSed my way out of the PE requirement, and skipped school everytime there was an assembly in the Gym.

What did you do?
