Write to the principal asking the question again and outlining the reasons for your request. Send a copy of the letter to the Superintendant of the school system, the principals boss, and make sure that at the bottom of your letter after your signature you place "cc: (superintendant's name)" and ask for a reply in writing. State in the letter that if you do not hear from him in writing you will assume that he agrees to your son being moved into track A to accommodate your families educational needs immediately. Be courteous but firm. Don't ever forget that when you are dealing with schools that your property taxes pay their salary. They are there to serve your family. Keep copies of everything and send it to him and his boss via certified mail with a return receipt requested. I have found that if you ask for something long enough in the schools and do not back down, that you will get what you need for your kids. If this does not work, schedule a visit with his boss and bring your copies of the letters with you. Ask again and outline your reasons. If track A has to do with the year round school system being used in California Schools and they have put 2 family members on different tracks so that the kids have different vacation schedules, then this is an outrage and is a good argument against the year around system. If you have to you can take it to the district or state superintendant.

Sometimes the principal isn't in charge of all of the school issues. Another person you can consider asking is your son's counsilor. Since that person is mainly in charge of your son's schedule and what not, he/she may be able to help you with your problem!

Hope that helps!

Do you mean "track A" as in some sort of honors or higher academic class?

What is track a?

If it's some sort of honors program, the answer is simple - have him study more and earn it.

It's your right as a parent to knowwhat's going on with your child, if she won't talk to you then go to her superior and if that person doesn't help you then keep going up the ladder until you get your answer and if you still can't get an answer then, take them all to court. IT IS YOUR RIGHT!!!

Offer the teacher a crazy sum of money to include your child into the program. I mean who would turn down money?

Just ask why not.
There is a good reason that has nothing to do with
