I tutor preschool kids and one of my students just isn't getting her numbers. She's 38 months and we've been on 1,2,3 since July. If I'm not expecting too much, does anybody have a different way I can teach her?

Mainly Yes or No or Possible.. (1.) Say a person's schedue from monday to friday is Work as a Pre-school Teacher 9:00 am - 5:30 pm and by the time theyy reached their night classes, they are so tired from the morning work. ) (2.) Extra from work - Evaluate 2006's Lesson Plan File - pages about 5cm thick altogether) (3. )Class for Diploma in Preschool Teaching 6:30pm - 10:00 pm ) (4. )Assignment : 70 Page assignment, due in 3 weeks.) (5. )Leave not granted until an unfortunate 2 weeks after assignment due date.. so no time at all to complete... Are the students wrong for asking for an extension for their assignment due date...

I'm looking for ideas to teach my 12-18 Months young toddlers class. I want to create or go-by a weekly cirriculum that is age appropriate and exciting! I have a book at work to go by, but it suggests working on crawling as one of the ideas...They already know how to crawl. I want my class to excel. I want to prove to the parents that their children are learning and that I'm not just a babysitter. Do you know of any FREE websites where I can get useful information? I have a low wage right now so I can't afford to pay for any programs or books, and I also have a family of my own...so not a lot of time to spend researching and planning at home. I'm pretty much looking for a website that is free and already has the themes and what to do already provided.

For my A-Level Critical Research i am finding research on: How educational is childrens television?

I've decided to look at programmes between the ages of 1-8. What are your views? I need peoples opinions and ideas please.

Do you think children learn from television? From what age? Does television help or hinder education for young children?

If you have any links or extra information for me to look at it would be much appriciated.

Thanks for reading everyone. Hope to hear from you all soon x

I am having trouble getting my little girl to potty train. She is 3 1/2 years old, can use the potty, but will only use it when it suits her. I have tried everything from bribery, to letting her wear big girl panties, to begging her, and nothing has worked. She just will not give in and use the potty all of the time. Help!

I have a 4 yr old daughter that "can't" learn her ABC's. We have sat down and went over and over them. Starting with A, B, and C only. I can hold up a flash card, tell her that "this letter is an A" and keep telling her and make her tell me. Then I pick the flash card up again and ask her what it is and she will tell me she either doesn't know or she will ask me what it is. It's getting frustrating because I knew my alphabet by age 3. I've wrote the letters, I've had her write the letters, and we have used the flash cards. What's left aside from whoopings??
