This is a smallish little production titled - Let Children be children - Im looking for some nice ideas for music to play before the show, and while the kids change scenes etc. . . I don't think I want songs with words - so MIDI's will work fine - where can I get this type of music?

Thanks!

My first thought was "YMCA" by the Village People, but, that was a joke to myself. Can you get your hands on any Kindermusik CD's? They are full of songs without words, and all are thematic. how about church music, or rent an audio cassette from a library from your local library. The reference librarian may have some suggestions on what is currently popular. Symphonic music, anything on your local Public Television Station, relaxation CD's at Walmart or Target, in that section, there are rain forests noises, etc. You may even buy a sound maker; I have one, it is from the relaxation spa area of Walmart; it makes ocean noises, rainfall, and stream noises. Good luck

You could get a soundtrack of kids favorites like songs including "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and stuff like that. I'm sure you'll find something in there.

I would get a CD of nursery rhymes, there are some without singing/words. This might be the easiest way to do it.
