Did you know that the average American IQ is 100? I had to take an IQ test last year as a class project. It took almost an hour. I scored 145.
After the test we talked about the results. It seems that only people who scored low complained. Why?

My husband is 32 and going to take his GED test in July. I have been studying the practice books with him, but some of that stuff in there is really hard!! I graduated from high school when I was 17 in 2002, and I dont remember a LOT of what is in some of these books. So, on stuff that I have forgotten, or never knew I dont have much luck teaching him about it...LOL...I was just wondering if some of you might have taken the GED test and how hard you thought it was. He has been out of school for about 15 years now. Do you think he has a good shot at passing it?? He is very strong in his math skills, but weaker in English/Writing. Thanks for all your answers!! God Bless!

honestly, i HATE social science classes like ethics and sociology. you don't learn anything useful and the material isnt really concrete. people always say that taking these classes makes you become more of a "critical thinker" but i totally disagree.

the only exception to the rule is economics. i love econ cause its not like most social sciences. its also helpful since most of the concepts are important in trying to pursue a profitable career. but anyways, math is great cause the material/answers are concrete. in math, theres an obvious difference between the correct/wrong answers whereas in ethics theres no clear black and white. math is one of those subjects where "it is what it is" and i think that makes it easier to understand.

anyone agree?

I’m home schooled and going into high school I'm not sure whether I should go to a public high school or take my GED test and go to college early or home school for four more years there are pros and cons to all of them if I go to public high school I’ll have to deal with jackass bullies but I’ll get to have a better social life, if I go to college early I’ll be giving up the rest of my childhood but it’ll look good on my future resume, if I just home school for four more years I wont have much of a social life but neither of the above cons will be a problems. So suggestions, advice, completely new ideas would be appreciated.

I read somewhere that a CV in the US is totally different from a CV in the UK. It said an UK - CV is more like a resume. I know it needs personal data, but how much? Do employers really need your birth place, marital status, etc.?
