You can learn something from everyone because each of us percieve the world in different ways and expericnce different things. Some of us might be from the same town but have completly different lives. Many of us even life in the same home with other people yet still can learn a lot from them. Im not sure if they were right about learning something new everyday but if you spend the time to talk to others you can truly learn from others.

not sure about everyONE but I really do learn something new every DAY. and I'm 40.
