Where is the best place to go to med school?

I need to know soon for i am compleeting my bachlers degree and need to find a really nice and expensive medical school.

Well, my daughter goes to NYU, but that's certainly not expensive enough!

Why not UPenn? They have an especially aggressive academic program (designed to drive you nuts) to help them keep their rep as 'challenging' since they have the very first med school in the whole US?

Or you could go to Brown, and combine medicine with a Ph.D in some arcane scientific field, and do it all in record time! This would certainly make you feel quite accomplished, if you didn't become a kook as a result of all the pressure and require long-term hospitalization for exhaustion.

It's up to you, but either of these two programs would help you drop a cool $100,000 or more per year, and why not spend 5 or 6 years piling on that kind of debt while taking that level of torture? You only live once!

why expensive?

first you need to take your MCAT before applying.
the "best" place varies from person to person. it depends on what schools fit to your personality. however, you should look at www.usnews.com for best research and primary care schools if you are interested in the rankings of medical schools.

keep in mind, that you can become a doctor graduating from ANY medical schools.
