In a school bus, there are 7 children being driven to school.

Each child has 7 backpacks.

In each backpack there are 7 mommy cats. Each mommy cat has 7 kittens.

Happily each cat/kitten has as many legs and feet as nature intended.

Question: How many legs or feet are there on the school bus?

Society gives so much credit to people with Ph.D titles. We put these smart people on top of mount Everest and for what? Anyone who loves school and has money, can work hard to earn a Ph.D. Colleges roll out the red carpet for professors because they are smart and in fact, they are intelligent. However, there are MILLIONS of reasons why certain people never reach a title beyond the B.A. or B.S. degree level. Why do we feel a need to worship people, for example, like Dr. Phil? Is he God? Can people with Ph.D titles walk on water or fly without an airplane?

Your reply?

I have a friend who is a senior in High School at the moment. He is by far one of the most smartest people out there. His grades have always been As and his lowest grade ever was a 98. Higest was 108. He's able to take college quizzes and ace them.
My question is, for someone like him who going to school is because he has to, is there a way he could take some tests and see if they can advance him in college? or get a couple of credits off the bat or skip college all together?

Thanks in advance

I'm in college ad I've been messing up lately. I have a tough major but I still think thats no excuse for my lack of progress. I've messed up in at least one class each semester. I was happy to have a decent gpa but now that seems to be going down. I've always been optimistic, but it feels as though I'm letting down everyone around me, all those people that believed in me. I feel like I failed everybody. Maybe I'm just over reacting or just have too high expectations for myself, I guess what gets me is that I did try my best in a lot of aspects of school, time management, and so on but to no avail. I feel like giving up, but I never will, like the poem goes Stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, it's when things seem worst that you must not quit. I'm not really looking for sympathy, but I'd like some advice or wise words for anybody thats been in my situation.

Which do think is better? I want to get my B.A. in interior design and the schools I'm trying to decide between is the Art Institute of Colorado and Colorado State University. On the one hand the art institute is closer to where I live, then again CSU is cheaper but is farther away.
What experiences do have with these schools? If you have experiences with either one, what did you like? what did you dislike?
Thanks ^.~

I am a college student at a university. I just took my psychology final. I am worried that I might be getting a bad grade from the result of the final. So here is how she is grading, my grade is 20% of my mid-term grade (I got an A) 25% my research paper (got an mid B) My quizzes is 25% (got an A). I know that she has a way to grade it but I am just worried that I might get a C as Result of my Final exam which is 30% of my grade. Is there anything I should worry about?

the last of my professors posted the final grade that i got for the term, it was less than what i calculated it to be, and wasn't right.

i emailed him about it, and turns out he didn't recieve the email for one of my papers. i re-sent it to him, and it changed my grade for the better.

he said yesterday, that today he would be going to the school, and submitting a grade change. ....

anyways, he emailed me that, and said it yesterday, which means he should of done it today. but when i keep checking it online, it still shows the wrong grade that he first put up.

i plan to email him about it tommarow if it doesn't change, but i'm just wondering how long it usually takes for grade to change?

I am 19 and can graduate next year (when im 20). I didn't know if that was a good idea, or if I should stay an extra year and double major. I'm still unsure about what I want to do for a job, but I'm thinking of majoring in family services or social work or a combination of the two. I'm thinking grad school is a possiblility, but i'm still very undecided about what I want to do in the future.

I just finished my first semester of college and I can't even explain how I feel. My GPA pretty much....sucks. I got two As and two Cs, which killed my GPA.

I will be moving to California in January so I was wondering if in order to be admitted to another college, one must send both HS and college transcripts? Is it possible to apply as a "new college" student? Can I just send my High School transcript and not my college transcript?

I have heard that many colleges don't even take your old GPA; only the credits you got. Is this true?
