It depends on the type of abnormality found. Some results may be abnormal but cause no health problems per se. If you are told by anyone other than a cardiologist that your EKG is abnormal, go see a cardiologist. They are the best to interpret your results.

I do EKG's in my lab and I have way more abnormal than normal ones. It really depends on the problem per say.

An abnormal EKG by definition cannot be normal.
