the last of my professors posted the final grade that i got for the term, it was less than what i calculated it to be, and wasn't right.

i emailed him about it, and turns out he didn't recieve the email for one of my papers. i re-sent it to him, and it changed my grade for the better.

he said yesterday, that today he would be going to the school, and submitting a grade change. ....

anyways, he emailed me that, and said it yesterday, which means he should of done it today. but when i keep checking it online, it still shows the wrong grade that he first put up.

i plan to email him about it tommarow if it doesn't change, but i'm just wondering how long it usually takes for grade to change?

Depends on the school, but it can definitely take a while (up to a week) for the change to go through the records office; it's not all up to your professor.

This depends on the process at your school. At ours, all grade changes have to be approved by the department chair and the dean before they go to the registrar, so it can take several weeks.

i'm exceedingly effective each college in u.s. prohibits unfair grade changing. Any semi-good instructor will persist with that. effective this is possible, yet i do no longer think of your instructor could replace it in case you probably did no longer earn the grade, exceptionally an honors instructor.

Contact the registrar's office. They will know the process and approximate timeline. It will really vary from school to school.

I'd guess that it would take two or three seconds, at most.
