For example when you mark an ethniticity for tests or college applications they never have half asian. Do you put white or asain? Does being a hapa increase your chances of getting into acollege because you are a minority?

I would like to become an attorney. but I only have time to do online classes. I want to do as much as I can online without going to an actual campus. Is there programs out there online that I can do from start to finish. I only have a high school diploma.

*200 hrs volunteer work,
*right now 2.9 gpa, but with senior yr 1st semester, 3.1 gpa.
*2 letters of rec
*1600 sat
*uc essay
*award for volunteer work

i am going to be a senior in 3 weeks.

* does 1st semester senior yr get added into gps before i apply?? or do i have to have a 3.0 before senior yr to apply to a uc???

I went to school at ENMU and graduated with a masters degree. Now i'm getting alot of flack from friends saying i graduated from a joke of a school in the middle of hicksville New Mexico (portales). I actually transferred to ENMU from Whitewater University in Wisconsin and found it to be much much more difficult and challenging. I never considered that my degree from this college would be laughable to others. How does it compare to average colleges across the us? Should i be concerned?

i really do want to finish school. i'm halfway done with my associates degree and i'm almost 19... my dad and i have been fighting a lot and i don't think i can stand to live with him much longer so i'm moving in with some friends and i'm going to get a part time job to help pay rent. i just don't know about school right now. i'm really unhappy with the path that i'm on. my dad doesn't care - he just wants me to finish school. he doesn't care whether i major in something that makes me happy or not. i feel like i was just rushed into this whole thing and didn't get a chance to really think (for myself) about what i want to do with my life. i just think maybe if i took a break for awhile i could use the time to decide what's really important to me.

is this ok? i mean it's not like i'm never going to go back. i'll go back next fall. i'm halfway done with my degree already. i'm just so sick of everything right now... i don't know what else to do.

My husband and I want him to take pre-med so that he will become a doctor, like his father. How will he become a doctor with an art history degree??? How can I get him to realize that he needs to take pre-med.

I wont be starting grad school (MA) until I'm 25. By the time I finish that and the doctorate program I'll be about 31-32. Do you think that's too old?
All of my friends started grad school right after they graduated from their BA at 21.
What are your opinions??
