I recently became a Student Senator at my local community college. As part of the senator requirement, I must take part in a "Senator Project," in which the board member organizes or plays a role in an activity that improves the school. For example, one of the groups has tried to enforce a "25 foot from the building rule" for smokers, or tried to setup other alternatives for our smoking classmates. Other students used funding to buy sports equipment such as wiffleballs and flag football in the yard that students could rent out with their school ID.

Does anyone have a general idea that I can try to work on for my school? I'm not asking it specifically for my college because I feel that all schools share some of the same essential problems.

Thanks in advance.

a 3.7 or 3.6 GPA, with at least 3 dropped classes in a nice university, (university of south alabama) over the course of time while being a full time and part time college student and graduating 7-8 years over first enrolling in the university- majoring in biomedical sciences and minoring in philosophy...is it still possible to get into a really good law school considering all these took place and a decent LSAT score, I'm looking for something like cumberland law school

I'll be a Senior next year taking a dual enrollment class at a community college and I want to know which class out of these will be required for just about any major. You know...the CORE classes you have to take that arent part of your major, because I dont know what i want to do yet? Which class should i take?

Expository Writing, Music Appreciation, Western CIV I, Intro to Sociology, Intro to Business, Intro to Criminal Justice.

those are my only options...what class should i go ahead and take that i know i will end up taking in college anyways?

I am a junior, and am having trouble deciding between whether I should become an engineer or dentist. I am from a lower class family, and with aid and scholarships, get myself throught college. However, if I chose to become a dentist, I would need graduate school. Although, dentists do make more money and might pay off in the long run. However, it would be difficult to go through 8 years of school.

I have a quick question about withdrawing from classes. I currently attend Kean University in NJ, and I plan on transferring to Rutgers University. My GPA for my first year at a different college was 3.97, and then I took 12 summer credits at Kean plus 15 during the fall semester for a 3.60. I did withdraw from one class in the fall because the teacher screwed me over, and now 6 of the 16 credits I am taking I want to drop because I fell behind especially in one class due to the fact I work 40 hours a week. If I drop the class, I am very confident I will get all A's on the other 10 credits to bump my GPA up to a 3.7. I should also note that even if I take 10 credits I will still have a total of 73 credits for 2 college years - which is still pretty good. Are there any recommendations as to what I should do? Will having 3 W's in two semesters look very bad or could it be explainable through the fact that I was basically working full time while going to school?

Throughout my college career I've been getting mostly A's and B's until this difficult class came along. The semster is not yet over but I was wondering if one is able to graduate with a "D" grade.

I'm doing some research on artificial intelligence. I need some resources for information regarding the topic. all information is useful. ie. neural networks, fuzzy logic, search, BBAI, ... if you have any websites that contain papers, books, essays, presentations (preferably recent / 2005 and later) or anything else to do with AI, please let me know.

just give the URL. and don't tell me to search on google. all kinds of search have been tried. I am just looking for resources that might possibly complete my work.

Many thanks

Even if you are adult (above 20yrs old) you are still expected to leave and come back within a specified time (say, before 11:00pm at night). Is that true?

Sorry for posting another question with similar content to the last, but i have narrowed my university choices down to: Glasgow uni and Sheffield uni.

It would be a big help if you could provide me with any personal experience of the two as i have very little knowledge of the student lifestyle at either institution.
