I really want to know whats my chances of getting into this college. I have a 4.0. I am in 10 grade. I know programming(c++).
I am like the top 1 rank. i scored a 1300 in the PSAT (which is average for me). I am a bright and fast learner. I am learning the basic of C++ and I pick it up like I was meant to it. I have a postive attitude. I am a Sikh(which I think shouldn't be a problem). Thanks. Please give me advice and comments.

A physical fitness association is including the mile run in its secondary school fitness test for students. The time for this event for students is approximately normally distributed with a mean of 450 seconds and a standard deviation of 40seconds. If the association wants to designate the fastest 10% as excellent, what time should the association set for this criterion?

Which one of these 3 schools should I apply to: University of Kansas, University of Arizona, or Michigan State University. I know that they are all big schools and have pretty good academics. Since they are all big, they have plenty of options as far as majors go so I dont have to worry about that. Can anyone tell me which one would be the best to go to and why

I am an international student. I do not know how to write acknowledgement in my thesis.
I would like to thank you all the committee members, a chief thesis advisor, participants, evaluators, friends, and families.
But I do not know the order of these people...
Are there any rules or manners in writing acknowledgement?

How in the world can someone just say i want to do this job for the rest of my life? What if they don't like it. Then they are stuck in a career that they thought they would like but they really can't stand, once they got into it. I know you can try different jobs out, but i am unable to pick a major. I have some ideas but i don't want to make the wrong one. I am really trying to avoid changing majors once i start one

I graduated from undergrad w/ a 3.4 (engineering) and am currently in grad school w/ 3.9 (materials science). I have been contemplating leaving grad school and either (1) getting an additional undergrad degree in another area, or (2) pursuing my Masters in an unrelated area. I have been looking at industrial design schools, and although I have a strong background and interest in CAD/drafting, I believe that my limited background in fine arts is insufficient to get into these schools. Is it possible to take undergraduate classes to make up for these deficiencies, or are my dreams of entering one of these schools unrealistic?

After the semester is over or after you graduate. I took every class this professor offered just because I thought she was hot and creatively stimulating. Maybe it was just a phase, I have not seen her in three months, but I still think about her.

I started college semi-sure that I could or could survive being a pharmacist (no offense to pharm students)....however i started taking chemistry....and its not exactly smooth sailing...it's making me rethink doing pharmacy...i mean...the job itself seems boring and i would go crazy....one thing i do value tremenduoudly is the job security...but chemistry is kinda scaring me....we just started however...we're on gases now...past redox reactions, which i finally understand....but it takes me longer to get the concepts in chemistry...and it only gets harder in pharm school i believe...but i did organic and biochem in high school and did aiight in it...a B...im fairly confident i can handle orgo....but the career itself and chem is making me doubt...so im looking at business as a degree cuz i dont really know what i want to do...any and all advice and suggestions will be appreciated....(help, Leah...)

I really want to learn this stuff because I am paying good money for this. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I work from 8:00AM-5:00PM five days a week. I have to work these many hours so that I can pay my bills. Currently, I'm at a community college and hoping to transfer to a University in approximately one year.

How am I suppose to join school clubs if I work full time? From what I've been told, I need to sign up for school clubs so that this makes me come across as a well-rounded student.

Advice? Would my situation in a letter to the University that I'm applying to? Do they even care?

Please comment
