Private? There are all sorts of noncompetitive private colleges out there. Technically, Univ of Phoenix is a "private" college and they take anyone with a pulse and money. Actually, they're in trouble for taking people with a pulse, but no money, but Phx helps them get financial aid even tho they know these people are totally unqualified and will never graduate.

Is this high school? If so, don't worry. They're not that bad of grades and you have three more years to go. Colleges look at GPA and if you continue to do better through senior/junior year, then yes you can still get into a private college.

Yes. Each private college has there own standards of admissions. Check out each one's requirements that you are interested in. Grades are only part of the equation.
SAT scores mattter as well as things like essays, admissions tests, extra curricular activities, etc. It looks like you have a B+ average which is very good. Good luck!

A good private college? No.

get rid of C's

Plus, keep in mind that often a public school is better than a private one

They are more concerned with your GPA... trust me... i had all A's and 2 D's and 2 C's and got into a great private school... i wouldn't worry about that two much

Yeah, but I guess it depend on what Private college it is, but I'm sure you'll be able to get into at least one.

Seeing and upward trend helps alot. Pull up those grades and you'll go anywhere you want.

I go to Buena Vista and I had worse grades than that.
