Here's one thing, no one is going to make you go to class like they did in high school so you need to discipline yourself and make sure you go to your classes. The people at the college don't give a rat's a.s.s. if you succeed or not; it's all up to you! Have fun and good luck!

College for me was so much better than high school. If you go to a good school, you probably will get to make your own schedule. Your freshman year you probably will not have the schedule that you want. but after that, I made it a goal not to have any classes on fridays. College students hang out on campus. STUDY, and yes party. The fun parties are the frat parties to me. All the fine boys. That makes me want to go back to college. I didnt really have as much fun as I could have because I had a boyfriend and I was trying to get good grades. I could have went out more though. Just dont overdo the partying. Have Fun!

I actually pay attention in class. It all depends on why you are there. If you are there to have a good time, that is up to you. You'll find out that one thing which bothers people the most is that no one is looking over their shoulder all the time. That is why a lot of people get in trouble. If you decide now what you are going to be like in college, then you won't have to worry.

Also, do not confuse "college" with "college-age behavior." They are two different things. I am finishing college with perfect attendance, a 3.57 GPA and I don't drink. It all depends on you.

The best advice I can give is to listen to the teachers when they lecture and take good notes. If they're talking about it, it’s going to be on the test. They probably aren’t going to make a point of telling you what to study closely; you’re going to be expected to know this. High School in no way prepares you for college, it is completely different.

Your spelling tells me you need to go to classes.
That said, college is a conflict between becoming an adult with sense and skill, or becoming an adult who specializes in drinking and screwing. Take your pick. If you care about who you will be, choose the latter. If you don't, choose the former. Look up lattter and former. It's a good start to becoming a smart person. Ideally, that is what you learn in college.

Sick fun.

You party like mad, you hang out with hotties, you get with hotties, you do other things that you do when you're a kid and... well, you do some learning in between and get a diploma. That's cool too...

College is great.

There is LOTS of drinking, LOTS of sex, LOTS of drugs, NO parental supervision.

And the best part is that parents will PAY for all of this.

It will be the greatest 6-7 years of your life.
