I've been holding off going to college for the past 8 months since I graduated High school. I do not qualify for financial aid, and I havn't been given any scholarships. My question is, are student loans worth it?

I think the question you should ask yourself is this: Is a college education worth incurring a student loan?

Depends. Are you going to graduate from college and then go work at the bank anyway? Or are you going to actually use your degree? College isn't worth it for a lot of people who's dream job doesn't require a degree. So figure out what you want to do, and then figure out if it having a degree to do it with will result in enough extra money a month to pay off your loans.

I think that student loans are worth it - they are an investment in your future and as long as you don't use them to buy things that you don't need, I think that they make a lot of sense.

From the looks of how things are, you ether have to be a doctor, a lawyer, a greedy, stealing CEO or politician to barely survive in the future.

For the educational value, YES! Just make sure you keep your eyes on the prize and don't let the distractions keep you from making that 4.0.
