Higher Education (University +) - January 2007

i have always thought about being a psychology major, but i have some questions. is it hard to get your degree? how long does it take? when you have your degree, how do you get a job? do you have to intern? do you work on you own? how much money do you make? i would like to be a counseling theripest and/or a marrige and family therepist. what should i do? my most important question is what is the best universtiy for me to go to? i prefer california but mostly southern california. please help me.

I have a 4.83 GPA, i have all honors classes, im taking two languages, im a sophomore but I will be graduating early my junior year, I participate in student council and in other school-community programs. I also took the PSAT and did great without even studying. The only thing is that i dont do sports, i did soccer for one season but got hurt. so what are my chances to get in? is it a good idea to challenge myself and graduate early? and which SAT subject tests should I take?

I have applied for this course this year and just wondering if anyone can tell me what its like, my main interest is economics and just wondering what proportion of the course is dedicated to what.

I am a student at a four-year university, about to finish my sophomore year. I'm at a point where I feel like I need to venture off on my own for a bit and possibly take a year off from schooling. My only issue is that I am not sure I will receive as many government grants if I take a year off and then return to college, compared to just sticking it out for all four years. I am looking for options that can involve traveling, workng, etc. Has anyone ever been in this situation/have any ideas for me? Serious answers only please! Thank you for your help!

I am currently at a college where i do not want to attend. THe area is in the middle of no where and theres many of junkies as you can say.. I have told my mom every reason that i didnt like the school..Yet one reason is that ive been having sex and people have started to start many rumors and people are very trifling down there. I didnt want to go to the school in the first place. It was my only option for the time. I dont really want to be here...and im not comfortable of telling her my other reasons for leaving

I overheard a student say that her Bachelor’s degree is fake but she paid good money for it. In order to get in the program you must have a Bachelor’s Degree and she only has an Associate’s Degree. If it was any other program besides a health program I wouldn’t care.

It's for a Uni assignment and I'm not getting anywhere. I need to write about Caxton's choice of vocab in comparison to Malory's. (Malory's was the original version - called the Winchester text - and Caxton based his version on Malory's one). Why does Caxton change Malory's vocab? What effect does this have on the general text? Why is C's version shorter?, etc. Any help would be appreciated!
