Here's a very condensed version of my high school transcript:

very competitive high school!

Cumulative GPA: 4.833 (3.98 unweighted)
Class Rank: 8 of 800
SAT scores: 760 Math, 700 Writing, 710 Reading

Extracurriculars:
Varsity Track and Varsity Cross Country - 2 time letter winner in each sport.
Over 300 hours of volunteer work in third world country
Spanish honor society, national honor society, mathematics honor society, math league,
vice president of computer club
co-founder/co-president of a successful badminton club

I have always taken the hardest classes my school offered.

My only concern is that I might be a bit lacking in my extracurriculars for a good school.

I want to get into schools such as Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Yale, and Cornell.

I need some expert advice!!! Am i aiming too high?

Phew! thanks for getting through it....I really appreciate any help

I was wondering what specific questions are asked during a Northwestern University Law School interview. It's off campus, if that matters. Thank you.

Are the United Nations considered to be Non Profit? Or for example an international organization that is funded by a country but which is registered as a charity?

I'm applying for a fellowship in non profir management, but im not sure if i have the correct profile.

- I am thinking about applying to Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, Princeton and Caltech for studying Advanced Mathematics and Physics in a Undergraduate Program.

- I live in Calgary, Canada.

- I study in one of the best schools in Calgary that has the International Program (www.IBO.org) and my grades are great! I have only A's.

- I only have my report cards of Grade 10-11 and I am doing 12 now.

- Sorry for my English, I moved from Brazil to Canada a year ago and my English doesn't look really good.

- I will do my SATs in 3 months or less, where I will need great grades, I will try to be in the 95% or more, of course.

I plan to move to Atlanta at the end of 2007. I want to go to school for Registered Nursing and I need a heads up on different schools I could look into. I have been out of high school since 2003 but I am a very intellegent woman so taking an admission test shouldn't be a problem if that's what they require.
Any suggestions?

I visited this school I got into and it has an awesome program for what it is I want to do. Their facilities are amazing and I sat in on the awesome class. I mean I loved that program.
But the rest of the school didn't really impress me. It's a party school and while I want to party, I'm not sure if I want to go somewhere like that.

Should I go there?

do they ONLY accept u if u are in the top 10% of ur HS class bc i go to a small private skool type thing with only 56 ppl in my class and i am 12 out of 56, which does not make me top ten but im still in the top 15%... i mean i have a 3.6 GPA and decent SAT scores and ACT scores, not perfect but not horrible

so how dose tht work?

another issue is tht my HS is new, we just started 3 yrs ago and we dont know if we are going to be ranked on our final transcript since we are such a small class, wht happends if we are not.

The reason I ask is cause I have to do tons of essays and I was thinking of modifying one of my old ones that I did in high school for college. But I don't want to do anything that I really shouldn't.

The general question is: Why do you want to go to Harvard?
They stressed us about not saying the obvious reasons like, "Harvard is Harvard!", "Harvard is famous."

Any ideas on reasons that would really make an impact?
