The general question is: Why do you want to go to Harvard?
They stressed us about not saying the obvious reasons like, "Harvard is Harvard!", "Harvard is famous."

Any ideas on reasons that would really make an impact?

If any of the above are inspirations to you, then write about that!

I would also strongly suggest that you research current faculty, and clearly delineate your reasons for wanting to study with THEM. That is the expectation on graduate application essays.

You should talk about the strength of the school, the programs offered that may make you choose this school over any other, and discuss how Harvard can help to make you successful in life.

Research the Harvard Design School and look at the popular graduates of this school. Write about how they influenced you or how you want to be molded to be like the graduates of HDS -- (but mention the graduates' names so you look like you did some research and critical thinking about your school choice).

I think you should watch spanglish and copy all the reasons she states she should go to Harvard.

Or maybe just write why you want to go to Harvard.

i might vote no. even however the sentiment could be completely valid, the component of asking a student to place in writing an essay is to no longer gauge no count if their ideals are appropriate, yet to prepare writing skills. Handing in a unmarried sentence (fragment) on a sheet of paper does not, in my ideas, qualify as relaxing the duty.
