I am in my thirties and going back to school via University of Phoenix. I have 5 years in the E-Business field as Internet Sales Manager, webmaster, etc. I just wonder what the job outlook is for this or would it be better to complete my degree in Accounting? The downside is I don't have any job history in Accounting...and besides I make way more than an entry level accounting job now. What do you folks think?

Will I be accepted to Stanford with the following?
I speak French fluently and I am the first person in my family to go to college. I have a weighted GPA of 4.12 academic GPA 3.7 . By the end of my senior I would have taken 13 exams passing 7 exams. I was the president of the French club and this year I am the president of the European Club. I played in the advanced Jazz band my junior year only because it was difficult( I played the piano). I took two other foreign languages at school. spanish 1-2,3-4,AP Language, this year AP Span lit.(only non-native in class), also took german 7-8 got a B both semesters(studied a lot over the summer). Language and music are my hobbies. However I was not in sports. I have a low SAT of 1630 and ACT composite 23. I did 50 hours community service. Volunteered 150 hours as teacher's aide and outside work. I also went to Long Beach City college in the summer of my sophmore year to take Intermediate Algebra and Spanish 3. As a result I am in AP Span Lit

Well, to start off with...

I think I've longed to be a surgeon, at the very core of youth...

I'm pretty positive that I can stand the disastarous sights of blood, JUST NOT THE SMELL

What do you think, it /really/ takes to become a surgeon?

I took a pre ACT test and got a 20. I'm not taking the actual test that counts until next year. I want to go to University of Illinois really bad. I don't want to go anywhere else, but I do have back-ups. The part that brought my grade down was on the Science, were I only got a 17, but everywhere else I did above average. I take honor classes and am in the higher range of my class.

Do you think I would be able to go to U of I? And any suggestions about what I can do to improve my score to get a better one.

Thanks :)

I'm interested in going to cooking school, and my parents weren't exactly fond of the idea (but warming up to it) but then I thought I might be interested in psychology and my mom was so happy and thought that was the best thing I could possibly do and really kind of pushed it. Like she made me take an AP Psychology course. I think its partly because she knows i'm patient and sensitive and also because I think she might've wanted to do it a while ago. But now I'm not so interested in it and I don't want to let her down.

Hi, i have a very very big and important exam in exactly 6 months(to the day). i have to read around 24 different books(math-physics-chemistry-biology-2 languages), the books are from different grades of 'high school'.
this test will determine if i can make it to an university or not so it's very important. i'm trying to start microbiology program\course next year.
now, i don't work, don't even go to school, so i'm totally free all day. now i was wondering how much would you study every day if you were me?!!!
and how many hours\minutes should you read and then rest a little?
