do they ONLY accept u if u are in the top 10% of ur HS class bc i go to a small private skool type thing with only 56 ppl in my class and i am 12 out of 56, which does not make me top ten but im still in the top 15%... i mean i have a 3.6 GPA and decent SAT scores and ACT scores, not perfect but not horrible

so how dose tht work?

another issue is tht my HS is new, we just started 3 yrs ago and we dont know if we are going to be ranked on our final transcript since we are such a small class, wht happends if we are not.

It's gonna be tough since you're not in the top 10%. I've read news reports of kids with GPAs over 4.0 and really high test scores who get rejected from UT-Austin cuz they weren't 10%.

10% of all high school kids in Texas is sooo many that it leaves less room for non-10% kids every year.

With the numbers you just posted and if you want to get into the University of Texas you should get in without much trouble.

Good Luck!!!
