i want to become a psychiatrist and im still contemplating on which undergraduate college i should go to for pre-med.

Asking what universities are best for pre-med is exactly the same as asking which universities are best.

Look at the web sites for US News or Princeton Review.

Go to a good undergrad university that has a teaching hospital.

If you're in California, USC, UCLA, and Stanford are all fine universities with an associated teaching hospital.

almost any of the first line state universities are more than adequate. get good grades, do well on the mcats, save your money for med school.

Ball State is not a first line university.
