My first interview is coming up soon!

Give me some good tips on what I might watch out for, etc.

Also, I'm dreading the question "Why do you want to attend this college the most?" I mean, I'm applying to 9 awesome schools and they are all EXCELLENT so what am I supposed to say?

Would like to ask people who is familiar as international students or locals studying at NDSU. How´s the living style life, living fees, what are the % of chances to find a job (for an international students), what do most of the people do after the classes or when it´s about holidays. I´m considering applying for this school but heard that this univ. is fine but life can be pretty boring sometimes. Would appreciate tips and helps..thanks in advances!

Profs always seem so focussed when they lecture. And they have to listen really carefully to students' questions, so they can give them a decent response. Do you really think they even notice attractive faces?

I'll pick the most thoughtful and detailed question as the best.

1. What's a good, affordable laptop that I can use for college? What's the best brand? (I am not rich. I am a middle class citizen and money is tight due to house renovations.)
2. What are 5 to 10 must-haves for a dorm room?
3. How much loose money should I have per month for laundry and other expenses?
4. What's a good cell phone provider that has a great network? What's the best plan? (My cell phone works at only one college campus out of town that I have looked at.)
5. What's a good bike that is reasonably priced that can withstand rain and other weather that I can use on campus? Does it make getting up hills fairly easy?
6. What are easy-to-make foods that are healthy and can be put together in a dorm room? (I don't want to gain the notorious freshman pounds.)
7. What's the best way to combat homesickness? (Because I know I am going to get homesick! :) )
8. Which general ed class (that you take in your first year before you start your major) is the hardest?

The reason that I am asking is that I saw a forum, hosted by Phil Donahue, it originated at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. The participants were Harvard students, and an expert guest. I did'nt find the questions from the students to be very probative, and their answers were very weak and muddled. Sure, they have the SAT scores but are they really that bright. I have seen more nuanced Q and A's on Yahoo Answers.

Ok, I am an eighteen year old, a sophomore and studying mechanical engineer. Recently I have many questions and I am nhot certain what to do with my life. I do not even know if I want to be an engineer anymore and even if I will become and engineer then what. I wonder whar is going to happen once I start a carrer. I see many grownups around me with kids, family and property and is as if I want to hurry to become a real adult. How will I become like them, finantially secure, responsable, reliable and organized witch are traits I barely posses. Have you even be in this situation and how did you (or still deal) with this?
