I have taken courses from two top private high schools, and one top public high school. I however have never taken the SATs, or ACT. It has been a number of years since passing my high school. I am wondering if I have a chance at being accepted to Harvard, Yale, or Brown if I apply. I know they select very few people overall, yet I have an overall excellent education record, great job, and I am related to someone who has taught at Harvard. I also have many people who would recommend me including a world renowed psychologist(He taught me psychology). My uncle also went to Harvard. If I apply, does anyone know if they would even look at me with no SAT or ACT test scores?

I've heard where you need 4 yrs premed, 4 yrs medical, and 4-6 yrs residency. Are premed and medical schools the same? Can you get all 8 yrs at one college? He's also looking for scholarships. Does anyone have any ideas where would be a good place to start, and is it okay for him to start applying now (he's a sophmore) or should he wait?

If you are bright and take a job at 16 you can get day release, you learn on the job, you are part of the grown-up world, you get paid and by the time you are 21 you've had 5 years experience.

It was different when going to University showed you were one of the top 5%.
