I already have a BS in computer science, but want to pursue a Masters Degree in computer animation or multimedia in a few years. Right now I'm still working and can't go to school right now. While I'm working, I'm thinking of taking a few graphics-based classes at my local community college to pursue a certificate or Associate degree in Graphics Technology.

My GPA wasn't very high upon graduation (a 2.49), but I do plan on studying hard to do well on the GRE and have a great portfolio of my accomplishments. But overall, do you think the certificate might help steer any graduate school to consider me as an ideal candidate for this field? Thanks!

Next year im going to be a JR and transfer to a university. I will be 26years old when I transfer. Im thinking about dorming off campus where the food is included and I will share a room with someone else cause its cheaper. I do want to meet new people and think its easier to do so in a dorm. Do you think im too old to dorm, or is it ok?

What kind of job could you get from a degree in Government or Philosophy? My brother in law has a degree in government and he gets paid by the hour. As for the philosophy, I know a few people majoring in that so I was wondering.

I am applying for graduate school in the fall and am very worried that I will not get accepted do to my G.P.A. I know that the minimum G.P.A. requirement is a 3.3 (which mine exceeds). But since graduate school is highly competitive, is a much higher average expected? What is the average G.P.A. for graduate school acceptance? I just need some re-assurance and some added knowledge on the subject of graduate school so any advice and or information is helpful.

today was the first day of class for me in my last year of college, and it seems like all my classmates keep getting younger and younger every year and what's worse is they are immature and rude! Not trying to be a drama queen or whatever, but just discussing it and observing it. I went to the counseling office today and some rude black kid probably 18 or so just gave me an attitude while asking a decent question.

I can find a list of addictions, and a list of bad habits.

I can't seem to find a list of GOOD habits though.

Can anybody point me in a suitable direction to focus my search?

So like I'm nevous about College starting. I have to commute over an hour to school everyday. All my classes start at 8am. yea it sucks.

So I was offered to live with a friend (so i would be close to school). Only thing is she is party of a sorority. I'd be crashing in a house with 6 girls.

I have a girlfriend and I feel kinda weird about it. Although I want to because I'd be close to school. What do you think?

I am contemplating whether my husband should go back to BYU for his eletrical engineering degree. I know that where he is now, at UTDallas, it has a really good program, and I wouldnt want to move to Utah unless it was a good program. How do I find out how good it is? And their reputation? Thanks!!

reading list? I'm really excited to be going but I'm a little concerned that I won't have read as widely as the other English students there. Do you have any other advice about going to Cambridge?
