I would like to know the psycology of sex. why people prefer one sex position over a different one, or why people have a certain fetish like adding food, whips, and other toys. why is fore play important. why not just get to the point?

I imagine it's a matter of comfort and pleasure. Some positions, give more pleasure than others. If the position is hard to hold, then you will tire quickly and it won't bring you as much pleasure.
Foreplay, isn't a chore, it's part of getting to know each other, we all do it, when we meet someone new. In Sex, it allows our bodies, and emotions to build to a better climax.
Usually, a fetish, is caused by somethin that happened in our youth, that we can't really remember. But by doing it, we can get pleasure from it.
