This "Empty Nest Syndrome" is normal. Don't worry. Just let yourself feel sad for awhile, it's ok. As time passes, and you re-adjust to your new, long-distance relationship with her, and realize that she's not really gone out of your life, you'll start to feel better and excited for her too.

It's scary because she is about to embark on a sexually promiscuous journey that may leave her pregnant before she's prepared or infected with a virus, or she may become a nun-ish bookworm incapable of capacturing a man's fancy and never delivering you grandchildren.
Or, if you've raised her well, she'll do just fine and live a normal life. Stop worrying. She'll be fine. Let the baby bird fly. Lift her up when she falls, praise her when she soars.

It'll probably be sad for her, too so cry together. It may not hit her until you're ready to get in the car and drive away. You'll miss her, but it won't take long to get used to her being gone.

That is pretty normal. I went through that when my oldest daughter first moved out. It helped me to journal and pray. Also, talk to a friend.

My mother told me it was PMS and I suggested we go to Dairy Queen and have a big banana split before we got to the campus.

tell her the truth, but do your best to make sure she understands that she shouldn't drop out of college because of this.

tell her how you feel. when she is gone you can always call, send cards, and then there is always vacation and some free time. be flexable. if it really bothers you, you might want to find somethings to distract you. it will help.
