Just doing some research of MBA programs. It doesn't have to be limited to North America. Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks,

I would like to understand how to compare the education systems in the USA to the UK - for example, what is the UK-equivalent of a high school graduate? And are O-Levels, GSCEs, etc. at University level, prior to University, or instead of university? Thanks!!!

I have a paper to write on this subject. I need some examples or articles to support or disagree with this. Also, if you want to throw in your opinion, its always welcomed.

What is the actual worhth of an MBA in the IT field, am told that hands on technical experience is worth more than an MBA, and that MBA's are not recognised as adding much extra worth to your profile.

Hi All,

What should I do ?

I have decided my research interest, but when I am searching the materials (related things), I could find other thesis almost the same topic, but this is PhD thesis.

Below are my doubts :
1) What should I do ? can I still carry on my research interest to go pursue my education ?

2) So what is the different between thesis Master and Doctorate programme ?

What I have known is only that you have to have your initiative more to reach the knowledge, (compare to bachelor degree where I have taken that lecturer explain it in the classroom -maybe different country different approaches)

PS. if Bachelor degree, As far as I know, our "bachelor thesis" (what should I call this, every country has different term) is about implementation and analysis after what we have studied as Bachelor degree. Please correct me if I am wrong. How about in Master or Doctorate programme ?

Please share ur experience and idea, I need guidance.

Thank you,
Sandi

Which is the better college? Is anyone an Alumni and could give REAL feedback? (not just people who have preconceived notions about this college being snotty, that college for rich kids), or anyone who has done research/applied/visited these 2 colleges? How do they compare academically/socially/culturally (surounding area)?
Thanks!

I'm a junior at the University of South Florida right now. I'll be graduating with my BA in December of 2007. My major is Mathmatics. I plan on getting a Masters, also. Right now, my plans are to be a high school teacher, and an adjunct at a community college.

But I'm wondering what else I can do with a Masters in Mathematics. I just want to keep options out there for myself.

Thanks.
