it depends partly on you.

What are you interested in?
What sort of work do you enjoy?
do you live or want to live in a big city/ A high tech area?

these are all pieces of picking a good first or second career.

It depends on how much it will cost you (in time & money) vs. how much better of a job it might get you. For instance, if your goal is to work in education (a teacher, for example) the masters degree is absolutely necessary. But if you already make $50k, that teacher's salary isn't going to pay your tuition.

That said, there's more to education than the job you might qualify for later!

there always is a need for special education in children. maybe a degree in specialized education.
