I have heard stories of people not being able to get jobs related to Linguistics upon graduation. I am a Science student. My performance in school has been in the top 1% of my peers but lately my performance has dropped while doing my Pre-U. My Pre-U result is no straight A's but I am still above average as I am able to obtain a full scholarship for my entire programme.
I am torn between Science and Arts. I like Arts but am not very good at it. sometimes I find it boring. I like Science but I dont like lab work because I am always blur during lab.
I particularly like Biology and always do well in my school's examination and gains appraisal from my lecturers but I always end up doing worse in my Biology than other subjects which I find harder in public exams.
I want to become a Speech Therapist but some people have told me that the job openings will be narrow although some supported me. Sometimes I feel like I cannot work with children so I think I will not become a good therapist.

My family and friends tell me that because I will be a pharmacist, I will able to pay back my loans without a problem. Is this true? ( I think I will be over 100,000 dollars in debt when I graduate and I am worried.)

I am not black but I still would like to apply.
If I went ahead and applied for a black scholarship are they going to actually look at my skin and not award it to me for being white?

Please help

Thank you

I am 21 and had to leave college after my sophmore year due to some family emergency. I have been out of school for almost 2 years now and I want to go back but not to the college I was going to. When I started that college fresh out of highschool my mother took care of everything from FAFSA's to student loans. I'm pretty much in the dark here. What is the process I need to go through to get back into college again? Oh, and I already have a school chosen and the application for the school, just have to send it in.

When you consolidate your student loans while in college, do you have to begin repaying the loan before graduation or do you still have that 6 month grace period after graduation? I am confused about this.

I am 21 years old and graduated highschool in 2002, I went to a community college but then I just left because the pressure was killing me, now I feel like maybe I partied too much outta highschool and i'm wondering if it would be a waste of time trying to go back, its harder for me to do math now and I dont want to invest time and money into school if i'm not smart enough, plus I might be on default for the pell grant since I abandoned my classes, there was a lot of problems at home at the time and I just wanted to get away, what do I do now? i'm starting to lose hope
