What does the bereau vocational rehabilitation do
for young adults with learning disabilities now days?
When I went through BVR in 1979 all I got was
discouragement,They discouraged me from trying
to obtain a GED and said I will never be able to go
to college.School was always difficult for me.
My own parents told me I should never go to school again ever,Was that right? After all the
discouragement I went through after being kicked
out of community college after I told them I had LD.
I just said no more,I feel I do not belong going to
school. It was miracle I passed the GED when I
was 29(1989).There was no help in my time.

If I attend a community college for two years to take my core classes, then transfer to a 4-year college for the remaining 2 years, would my bachelor's degree be any "less" to employers than attending a 4-year college for all 4 years?

What's wrong with saying Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays? It's getting very ridiculous because the holiday's are based on the birth of Jesus Christ our saviour. It's becoming very stupid because there's no commerials or anything drawing the costumers into the stores. Now, it's like a ghost town everywhere you go. What happen to the spirit of the Lord. Just because a set of people don't believe in God doesn't mean that it should be spoiled for the rest. In essence, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I'm doing a project for my english class and we are required to find a good fairytale so we can recreate it. But before we can do that, we need to print the story off of the interenet for a guideline.

So what i'm asking is if you know where I can find the full story of Cinderella online, can you give me the link.

I am sick and tired of school and because I am a quadlapleagic I am only able to take 3 classes a semester and it's going to take me 7 years to get done. Actually i know theres not much i can do with a BA in Criminal justice and For now i cant go to Graduate school and get a masters .

For a project for my World Issues class, my teacher gave me Amnesty International as a topic and told me to write a 'rationale' consisting of a summary detailing any 10 reasons why the issue (human rights, in the case of amnesty international) is important and the relevancy of this 'Global Day' (Amnesty International Human Rights Day). Also, to justify my response with statistics/facts and case studies relevant to human rights.

It would be great if people could give me their opinion about reasons why human rights are important, because I've thought of a few, but think there are many that are better that I can't think of.

Hello, I am currently a student at a community college, but yesterday I got my acceptance letter to a 4 year University. Basically, I want to prepare now (financially) to get the things I will need to go away (the school is not located where I currently live). Of course my parents are there to help, but we are definately not rich. I realllly want a laptop or a computer for school, but don't know how I will ever be able to afford one. Are there any tips on how to get one for cheaper?

i founded the musician's club in my school. i did these clubs:
literary magazine, model UN, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), Debate Team, Tech Team, humanitarian. I also did student government, and was on the volleyball team. My gpa is a 3.8 unweighted. I had a tutoring job at a community center.
I am hispanic, so thanks affirmative action.

what are my chances for columbia
do the number of years u are part of each extracurricular matter??
i still have a bit of time to strengthen my resume so what can do to improve my chances, other than study for the SATs, for which i am well prepared.

I have asked this question a million times but no one ever seems to have an answer.

I have a 4.0 GPA in psychology and what will probably be a 3.45 overall GPA. If i have ok letters of recommendation, should i be able to get into the PsyD program or should i spend an extra semester in my undergrad institution doing internships, independent studies, honors thesis, and working on getting great letters of recommendation? Would all of that be necessary or should i have no problem actually getting in to Argosy with my current stats?
