I'm a senior in high school this year and for about a year now i've been thinking about being a game and fish warden. My qualifications are that I live in Arkansas and I would want to work in the state, I am an eagle scout, and I am planning on having a four year degree in Wildlife and Ecology Management. If there is anyone out there that could halp me answer my questions I would greatly appreciate it. Number one: I am concerned with the pay. I understand that you must work weekends and holidays thats not a huge problem but on www.agfc.com it states that starting pay is just $1,928 monthly which comes out jsut below 24,000 a year. If this does, does this increase significantly or at all with time or prior experiance. Number two: I understand it is difficult to get a job but with my experiance and college degree will I have an upper hand? Also what all is paid for? From what I see from my area they all drive issued trucks. Sounds good to me but i'm about out of room.TY for help
