The teacher took a book from my friend because she was reading in class, even when she was asked to put it away. Then she asked me to get it back for it so I asked the teacher if she could have it back because she needed it for SSR. He told he no and gave me his reasons, but did it kind of angrily. Now I'm kind of afraid he thinks less of me.

The teacher is not going to pay much attention to what you did. Don't worry about it. It is not a big deal.

Don't worry. The teacher was annoyed for the moment, but has so much to think about, he probably forgot the incident by the next day.

No he probably said it angrily because he was mad at your friend, had other issues, or didn't realize how he was talking. Don't worry you're fine.
