What's wrong with saying Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays? It's getting very ridiculous because the holiday's are based on the birth of Jesus Christ our saviour. It's becoming very stupid because there's no commerials or anything drawing the costumers into the stores. Now, it's like a ghost town everywhere you go. What happen to the spirit of the Lord. Just because a set of people don't believe in God doesn't mean that it should be spoiled for the rest. In essence, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It's not ABOUT stapling a religious label on things. It's about the spirit of the Lord, NOT about a giant Fat Man in a red suit.

Do people think there is a difference between the USA and the UK? We seem to have no problem over here, and exchange greetings with our Muslim, Jewish and Hindu neighbours. Everyone sends cards and at least small presents, and we all get a couple of days off work to visit our families. Mind you, I live in a big city, so we are all used to mixing.

Nothing is wrong with it except for the far left wing loonies and the ACLU who just don't get it. This country was founded by Christians with Christian principles. Ninety percent or higher are Christians who believe in God in this country. What's sad is how a minority can over rule a Christian society. I don't care who feels insulted(Muslims) this is our country that our forefathers fought and died for in the name of God. After all the Ten Commandments are in the Supreme Court. This is ridiculous to cowtow to the few.
One more thing to keep in mind is that I still believe many people believe and celebrate the birth of Christ and you may not see as many people at the Malls perhaps to business that has given way to the internet. Peace and Love. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night- God Bless and good health always!

everyone tries to be way too "politically correct" rather than religiously correct, therefore, people can't even say Happy Holidays, let alone Merry Christmas, without the chance of a lawsuit coming up. It's so retarded and ridiculous. But we don't need to worry about it b/c they are the ones who will be going to Hell and hating themselves for not being more intelligent to making decisions in their lives.

I'm a Christian, but I don't say "Merry Christmas" to anyone I know to have another religion. It's not respectful.

It's up to us to have our own fun. I can still enjoy a cheeseburger despite vegans, and a beer despite teetotallers. Merry Christmas to you too.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulders and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace..

Pass me the pepper, and the opener, will you please?
