how should i go about solving this question?

sketch the graph of y=f(x)+3 and state the equations of the asymptotes.

(i'm not sure exactly what asymptotes are and what the ≠ symbol is supposed to mean)

I mean spelling is one thing, since spell check can fix it (at least in the main part of the question) but the spell checker on this site doesn't correct grammar, and not all of us are familiar with (or, for that matter, even care about) all the little anal retentive grammar rules that are out there, so why not just let it go and address the question/answer itself instead of the minor grammatical or spelling errors therein?

could the comma between petition and essentially be a colon? Is it a grammar thing or a stylistic thing? If you answer, how do you know?

Did your teacher ever gave you and your class an assignment about reading a novel with more than 100 pages or more?

If so, do you think it's right? I'm asking this because no matter how many novels you read, you cannot record word by word or remember them exactly as they are. (Unless you have that ability) And also, no matter how many novels you read in your life, will you be able to read them when you die?

Will you be able to REMEMBER or RECITE or DECIPHER them word by word and remember the lessons??? Will it matter in the after life?

Shouldn't you be doing something that is important and will last eternally? Because you're only a soul in that body of yours and you will still going to die anyway...

Teachers should TEACH (that's their job right?) kids the most important things and that will help them in their own jobs in their life and afterlife.

Im interested in union apprentice here in hou tx but they want 1 year of hs algebra and I've never taken it but I can never get a hold of nothing but a recording. I am a truck driver and would like to change careers and the more I look into this field it seems to try to attract high school age people.
