Im interested in union apprentice here in hou tx but they want 1 year of hs algebra and I've never taken it but I can never get a hold of nothing but a recording. I am a truck driver and would like to change careers and the more I look into this field it seems to try to attract high school age people. I just dont want to change careers and feels so old and behind thats why asked what age is too old to start out in this field and will a lack math skills keep me from succeeding. Or is it something that I wont be taught in training? Every/anything s helpfull! thanks very serious time is running out!

You can ausually take math classes through an adult ed program or GED program at the local high school. And this time of year, you probably won't get an answering machine.
