well, i don't understand the xF(x) and 00 thing, but if the other two things are your coordinates then i can help, but it's sort of confusing. is it (-4, -2) or what because i don't see your commas. i want to help you, so if you can email me the coordinates, i can explain it to you. Basically, you want to put one of the coordinates in point-slope form and then solve it so that it turns into y-intercept form.

Okay there is something that has always helped me for algebra. Just remember rise over run to find the slope. with -4,-2 and -2-1 it goes up 2 and over 1 so the slope is 2over 1 which is equal to 2. is one of the numbers is negative than the slope is negative. Once you have the slope just graph it out by going up 2 over to the right 1 for every point on the graph

f(x)=y so just write a y-intercept equation
