Once I found a professor had not read my work and gave me a C. I told her I would go to the Dean if she did not read my work and give me the grade I deserved. I got my A but had problems with some other teachers in the department after that.

upload, melancholy, and rigidity illness are not stable motives to ask for a grade to get replaced. they're, although, stable motives to ask the college that can assist you you on your destiny instructions. If, as an occasion, you have a clinically determined researching incapacity or comparable, and if meaning which you go with time beyond regulation to end tests, as an occasion, then the college can organize which you will have that time beyond regulation. Likewise, in case you have been interior the midst of the term, and your melancholy brought about your international to come back crashing down around you, you may desire to get a scientific/worry withdrawal from all your instructions, and do them returned as quickly as you have been properly. yet no longer after the class is done. As yet another poster pronounced, the only way you will get a grade replaced is that if the grade improve into in errors. Say, you probably did bypass in a paper, however the instructor ignored it and consequently your grade is merely too low. in case you may prepare the grade improve into in errors, you may have it replaced. in case you obtain an exceptionally unfavourable grade, maximum faculties will enable you to retake that classification. once you get a extra powerful grade next time, the hot grade will take the situation of the previous grade on your GPA. The previous grade will nevertheless prepare on your transcript, even though it won't count selection against your GPA. Please talk to your academic consultant approximately all this.

C to an A? You are asking for a miracle, especially if it's a demanding science course that has a low curve. You better go to office hours often and be proactive. C to B I can understand, but C to A is ridiculously hard to get unless you find a grading error on your exam or can blackmail your professor with pictures of him/her with their mistress!

Take your course seriously and apply yourself more. A professor doesn't give grades you don't earn yourself.
So it is up to you to change the work you are turning in.

You want a professor to GIVE you an "A". In my classroom it doesn't work. Students EARN the grades they get.
TO GET AN 'A' DO 'A' WORK.

Go and talk to him and ask what extra work could you do to improve your grade. You didn't say what class so the ideas might not be valid for your course.
