I am 20 years old and going to a community college in Texas. I do NOT have a good relationship with my mother. I have lived on my own and supported myself for 3 years. I was living on my own my senior year of high school and now 2 years in college. We talk maybe 3 times a years and it is difficult to get her to fill out my Fasa (financial Aid) once I finally do get her to fill it out. I am denied any help by the school because they base it all on her income. I am like most college students and am broke. I live with a friend, and am working at a YMCA. I need help with tuition, but my school has tried to tell me that there is no way that I can file without using my moms income and tax info. She has not contributed to any part of my schooling and for that matter has not given me any sort or financial help in 3 years. So for my science fair project, I'm going to convert various materials into energy i.e. petroleum, nonrenewable resources, etc. etc.
However, the results have to be graphable and I'm not sure whether how I would do it. I was thinking of trying to measure which of the materials have energy the most.

I'm not sure whether I could measure energy but I'm really confused as to what to do. I just know that I'm going to be converting materials into energy and that the results of the experiment have to be graphable.

Any suggestions or advice?? Help!!

My son is 14, and he is autistic. He does not live with me, he lives with his dad.
His dad has not raised him to have self control or common sense....has not raised him to tell the truth either. I have tried in the past to regain custody and have not been successful. Regaining custody is no longer an option. As much as I love my son, I can no longer even hope to help him myself or hope to channel his behavior in a constructive manner.
To help anyone that wants to answer this to understand, his dad has inappropriate expectations of others, and he lies (this has been witnessed).
My son is emulating his actions and attitude. He lies, cheats, touches other people and their food, makes very inappropriate comments and noises, and is a constant distraction to others at school.
I am not sure what to ask for at the IEP. It is almost to late to do anything for him before he "grows up". How do I help him? What do I ask for? How do I make them give it? Help me please......

I am currently a Senior and wanted to know what options I have for college. I have struggled in high school do to some personal reasons and I have a 2.5/4.0 GPA with a 1790 SAT score. I have taken some AP classes and I plan to take the SAT again.
